Happy Birthday BPitch Control! – 1999 – 2009: 10 years of BPitch Control

Ten years of BPitch Control. Ten years of music; working together; following the idea of acting as a collective; fostering of exchange and communication; entering new territories and having fun while doing so.Artists like Modeselektor, Paul Kalkbrenner, Apparat, Kiki, Sascha Funke and of course BPitch founder Ellen Allien have changed the landscape of electronic music over the last ten years, putting BPitch Control firmly on the map of the labels, which try to push the envelope of electronic music with every release.

And not just that, BPitch is a breeding ground for fresh talent, presenting and pushing upcoming artists from right about everywhere. So while the afore mentioned BPitch artists are still busy headlining the most respected clubs in the world, the next generation of BPitch producers including Thomas Muller, Chaim and Zander VT is already making their mark on the international club-scene, more than keen to add new bass-heavy chapters to BPitch’s diverse history. And let’s not forget about the new electronica signing Telefon Tel Aviv and BPitch’s idm-supergroup Moderat. To celebrate ten years of exploring and shaping electronic music as it is today, BPitch is proud to announce a series of special events including the whole roster of the label. Visually supported by Pfadfinderei, these events will be the perfect opportunity to experience BPitch’s vision and ongoing quest for cutting edge electronic music and euphoric partys.
