Jochen Miller Taking The World In A Fashionable Way

Over the last 8 years, through his no-nonsense beats, bellicose basslines and bombastic, floor-attacking synth-philosophy, Jochen Miller has become the poster boy for ground-breaking hard trance. Often spilling over onto the peripheries of techno, and the hinterlands of hard house, his wide-arc remit pushes things just as hard, and as tough as they need to get! Long a favorite production pick of many an A-list DJ (including Judge Jules, Ferry Corsten, Tiësto & Marco V), his music has been injecting audio nitrous down through the cables and out of the speakers of clubs around the globe.

Now as summer begins to move into autumn (and we all need something to decisively blow away the cobwebs), Miller is preparing to drop-kick his debut High Contrast compilation mix straight into your laps (and onto your stereos)…

Mixing the 4th in the label’s ‘Presents’ series, Jochen has scoured the production nooks, crannies and hard-drives of some of the world’s greatest electronic dance music adventurers to compile the album. The result: the freshest (and soon to be hottest) auditory floor-bombs you can clap your ears in the coming months.

Whipping them together with his typical fast-paced, fission-powered mixing style, the album is far from lacking in the trance-hold names dept. Marco V, Rank 1, Andy Duguid, Gareth Emery, Filo & Peri, Leon Bolier – (take a breath when you need to!) – Fred Numf , Cliff Coenraad , Dennis Sheperd and Brian Cross are all making their music mark in the mix.

You’ll also find blazing new creations from old-skool heroes like Phil Fuldner & Ton TB, proggier more atmosphere-infused moments from Ben Preston as well as material from the sharpest new-comers (including Jozef Mihalik, Matias Faint, Alex O’Rion, Beat Service and Deep Care).

A track line up to a Jochen Miller mix CD would not be complete without some fresh, floor-tenderizing material from the man himself though. In the thick of the mix you’ll find the highly appropriately titled (and just released) ‘Brace Yourself’ and forthcoming ‘Red One’.

If distortion, drive and dance-floor conflagration are on your ‘needs’ list throughout the next few months, look no further – the double CD answer is right here!
