The debut album from Slovak Electro-Pop band TANX called “Safe Zone” is an interesting combination of retro synthpop and futuristic electro sounds. It contains 14 songs – from slower melancholic ones and calm downtempo club music to powerful pieces full of energy.

On the album one can listen to female vocals that are way different from vocals that we are used to hear in electro/sytnhpop music. Overall temper of the album is dreamy, melancholic, and sometimes even mystical. The actual founder of TANX is Jan Hedera (ex TC Lemons). In the current line-up the band has existed since summer 2008. A year later they recored their first video for the song „Can of Worms“.
TANX makes electronic music combining electronic and acoustic drums, classic and legendary analog sounds and bass guitar. “Safe Zone” will strike a chord with anyone who likes nice melodies, retro analog sounds and atmospheric vocals.
